Film and Making Change Work for Women

Shout out to all artists and filmmakers who continue to utilize art in creating awareness about the issues on Violence Against Women (VAW).

In a film showing during #UPOpenUniversity’s 23rd Anniversary, the movie “Broken Halleluyah” by Mr. Roland Sanchez exposes the disturbing nature of human trafficking. The complexity of the movie’s characters pointed out to one unmistakable conclusion that women are not commodities to be sold and not slaves to be used and abused.

The movie aims to transform, inform, and motivate the viewers to help protect the integrity and safety of the women, the weak, and the oppressed. #WomenMakeChange #eLearning #ShoutoutSaturday
